What is hide-a-hose central vac?

A hide-a-hose central vacuuming system is the best way to make the most of your central vacuuming. If you’re tired from having to carry and store the hose for your central vacuuming system, then this is the answer for you! The Hose-in-the-Walls system keeps your hose inside your walls and can be installed in either new or existing homes with relative easiness. Hoses are available in lengths of 30, 40, 50 and 60 feet.

Our Hide-A-Hose uses the suction of a central vacuum system to pull the hose back into the wall. This eliminates the need to unclog drains, extend hoses, or carry heavy extension cords around the house. Just let the vacuum do the work. Now there’s no need for carrying from inlet to inlet, coiling and storing a bulky hose again.

With Hide-A-Hose, the hose can be as long as 60 feet, so each wall outlet covers about 2,800 square feet. And since we’re just using the power of the vacuum to retract the hose, there’s no need to worry about wearing out parts like belts or pulleys.

It’s easy to install in new constructions and can be retrofitted into an already-built house with a central vacuum. Hide-A-Hose is so convenient that it quickly becomes a “must-have” appliance for homeowners using a retractable central vacuum system.

If we have access to an crawl spaces or attics, wee can install the Hide a Hose system.

How does Hide-a-Hose works?

Hide-A-Hose is a revolutionary way to clean hard surfaces like tile floors, countertops, sinks, showers, tubs, toilets, woodwork, appliances and more without having to go around the house looking for outlets. Simply pull out the desired length of hose from the wall behind the surface you want cleaned and attach it to your favorite tool. Then just let the powerful suction do the rest.

The system works because the vacuum pump inside the central vacuum unit creates enough suction force to suck the air out of the pipe and draw the hose back into itself. This makes it possible to vacuum up to 50 feet of hose from one wall outlet.

Does Hide-a-Hose Use Attachments?

Yes, Hide-A-Hose has a large variety of accessories made specifically for their products. Make sure to only use the manufacturer’s approved accessories. Check out the owner’s guide for more details.

Each inlet valve includes its own vacuum tube.

Be sure to plan ahead when buying a Hide-A-Hose system. You need a strong central vacuuming unit capable of providing enough suction to pull the hoses through the tubes. For longer hoses, you may want to consider purchasing two separate units.
